Just under a year ago Dublin’s outlet for the supercool event listing Le Cool opened and in only 12 short months 7,000 people are being guided to the hippest haunts, galleries, clubs, gigs and getting a sense of the people living here with interviews with those setting the world alight. This FRIDAY sees them take off their virtual facade for one night only with a special first birthday event at South Studios. Music, cover art from the year’s mailers and Smirnoff cocktails ahoy. Even if the creatives involved go along alone (Keith Walsh, Ruan van Vliet, Lauren Crothers, David Delahunty, Gaetan Billaut, Aidan Weldon, Loreana Rushe, Mario Sughi, Shane O’Driscoll, Jon Cheung, Isabel Reyes Feeney, Brian Coldrick, Niall Sweeney, Synth Eastwood, Richard Gilligan, Dave Comiskey, Paddy Lynch, Stephen Ledwidge, Dragana Jurisic, Stephen McCarthy, Alan Clarke, Gary Farrelly, Jamie Saunders, Trevor Finnegan, Faye George, Raul Arantes, Eleanor Reilly, Fergal McCarthy, Aaron Brady, Justine Le Guil, Niall O’Brien, David Turpin, Owen Kane, Aisling Farinella, Tamara McCarthy and Sean & Yvette from South Studios) it’s going to be crazy. If they bring friends it’s going to be mental. Le Coolest party in ages.
The show is also open to the public to pop down 11am - 5pm this Saturday so bring the kids!
